Non-members Price: $40 with completed Requisite – Beginner Gourding Class

Ready to try something new? How about adding some “zip” to your gourd by inserting zipper into it? Depending on your experience with using a Dremel or other power carver, I will guide you to make an appropriate design on your gourd.

Teacher will provide: two sizes of zipper to choose from, and all other materials.

Students must bring:
- gourd cleaned inside and out, not necessary to paint the inside before class, an apron, mask, diamond carving balls, carving wheel, your carving bits, power carver (Dremel or similar). Let Barbara know in advance if you will be using one of the Kawartha Gourders' Dremels to make sure we have enough for everyone.
